In-Person & Video Sessions

Sonia Peacock is completing the final semester of her Master of Counselling Psychology degree at Adler University. As a student counsellor, she offers reduced-fee counselling services and receives ongoing clinical supervision from Kathy Merabian, RCC, Clinical Director of Creekside Counselling.

Sonia brings extensive experience supporting individuals across community, healthcare, and mental health settings. She has provided counselling and support to adults, youth, and families through her work in reproductive health, crisis intervention, community outreach, and clinical counselling. Most recently, she completed her practicum at Westcoast Family Centres, providing individual counselling to children, youth, and adults.

Prior to her clinical training, Sonia worked with at-risk youth, served as a volunteer Crisis Responder with Kids Help Phone, and supported individuals facing a wide range of life challenges. These experiences have strengthened her ability to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported.

Sonia works primarily with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and emotional overwhelm. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, helping clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
